Our office was founded in 1956 by Dr. Earl Terp, Dr. Richard Terp's uncle. They practiced together for seven years, giving Dr. Richard Terp time to benefit from his uncle's three decades of dental experience. We are very proud that many of the patients who started with us in the 1950's are still coming to us for their dental needs.
We are continuously monitoring changes in dental materials such as fillings, sealants, veneers and crowns and always choose the most highly rated materials from all over the world. We employ the most up-to-date instruments in the fields of endodontics (root canals), periodontics (gum disease) and general dentistry.
Dr. Richard Terp attends numerous continuing education classes each year, hosted by The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, Clinical Research Associates (the leading independent dental research organization), the Illinois State Dental Society and others.
All of our dental assistants have been trained at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry and most have over ten years of dental experience.
